Redwood City Police and Firefighters' Association, the Police Activities League
and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office presents the
Annual Holiday
Dear Community Supporter,
Thank you for your continued support of the Redwood City Police Activities League (PAL), the Redwood City Police Officers’ and Firefighters’ Associations and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Holiday Toy and Book Drive. Last year, we were able to provide over 12,000 toys and books to nearly 500 families. Santa Claus delivers presents to each child’s home, escorted by uniformed police officers, firefighters or deputy sheriffs.
We are currently collecting donations for our 2012 Toy and Book Drive. This support can be in the form of toy collection barrel(s) at your location and/or donations of light refreshments or drinks for our Wrapping Party. We are also looking for corporate sponsorships to purchase toys and books. Due to a shortage of collection barrels, we ask that you only take a barrel if you can completely fill it. Barrels will begin to be delivered on October 29th and the first barrel pick up is scheduled for November 12 with barrels being picked up through December.
If you are interested in having a toy collection barrel, volunteering, or making a donation to our program, please fill out the form and mail or email to the address on the form. If you need more information, please contact: Tom Cronin, Officer Dan Smith, Deputy Pedro Miqueo or Fire Fighter Justin Velasquez.
Our wrapping party is Wednesday, December 12th, 2012, 5pm to 8pm at Red Morton Community Center (1120 Roosevelt. Ave.)

The Toy Drive Kickoff event at Arya restaurant, sponsored by W.L. Butler Construction and Sequoia Realty Services, was a huge success. The restaurant was packed and the toys filled the room, with a special visit from Santa arriving on his sleek "sleigh". |
